REX LACEY & ROGER LEVET MEMORIAL
OO Troubleshooter Club Member, David Habershon (Ldr 68) writes:
Over one hundred members of the Old Oundelian Rifle Club, families, staff and friends gathered in Oundle at midday on Saturday 13 May to pay their respects to

past shooting coaches Rex Lacey and Roger Levet.
Outside the School Armoury, two oak trees were planted to commemorate their lives at a short ceremony led by Sir Charles Pollard (Sc 63), President of the OO Club and Andrew Tobin (G 92), President of the Troubleshooters, assisted by the families. The event was accompanied by a splendid musical tribute and marching display by the School CCF Band. At the reception afterwards the Troubleshooters presented a new cup "The Rex Lacey Memorial Trophy" to the Headmaster, to be awarded annually to the best school marksman. The annual OO shooting event was held at Elmington Range that afternoon.
