The Foundation is funded entirely from the generous donations and legacies of its many supporters.

Donations come to the Foundation through a variety of routes and they take a variety of forms.  Some of the routes by which monies are donated include the Annual Fund, targeted appeals, for example the SciTec Fundraising Campaign, a telephone appeal or through regular or one-off gifts. Donations are not always in the form of money and the Foundation has been the fortunate recipient of gifts of shares, property and antiques.

The Foundation's funds are invested on its behalf by the Oundle Schools' Charitable Trust.

Some gifts are restricted and can only be used for a clearly defined purpose, specified by the donor. Other gifts are unrestricted and are applied to areas deemed by the Foundation Executive Committee to be of the greatest need.
